If you’d like to be part of the full wedding weekend, we recommend arriving Thursday evening and departing Sunday morning.
While we’d be thrilled to have you at every event, we know that might not be possible for everyone. If you’re choosing just one, we hope you’ll join us for the wedding ceremony at 5pm on Saturday, August 15th.

Cranberry hill estate
Cranberry Hill is a private AirBnB we've rented for the occasion. It will serve as our gathering place for the weekend and all wedding-related events will be hosted here.
We recommend guests stay within 15 minutes of this estate, in either Gloucester or Rockport.
FLIGHTS
AIRPORTS
If you're flying in, we highly recommend Boston Logan Airport, which is one hour South of Cranberry Hill Estate. If you have the time on the way up, check out Salem or Manchester-by-the-Sea.
While further than Boston, Portland, ME also offers an airport that sits two hours North of Cranberry Hill Estate. Turn it into a road trip and stop in Kennebunkport, explore New Hampshire's tiny coastline, and walk through Newburyport on the way. If flying in here, be sure not to book a flight to Portland, Oregon!
ACCOMMODATIONS
As this is a very popular area for summer vacationers, we recommend our guests book their accommodations as soon as possible. Stays are already limited and there may not be availability if booking is postponed.
HOTELS
Bright, coastal-style hotel along Gloucester’s scenic Back Shore, with shingled buildings, private balconies or patios, and big picture windows framing the horizon. 5 min drive to Cranberry Hill.
Low-key, classic New England motel with a row of rooms stepping down a grassy hill, wide glass fronts facing the marsh and Good Harbor, and an 8 minute walk to Good Harbor Beach. 5 min drive to Cranberry Hill.
Perched above the craggy shores of Pigeon Cove, this historic inn feels like a nostalgic literary retreat, with rocking-chair verandas and a fireside lobby that echo a 19th‑century seaside novel. 15 min drive to Cranberry Hill.
Contemporary, low-rise hotel set on spacious grounds, with simple, modern rooms and suites opening onto lawns and walking paths, and an easy hop into Rockport’s shops and galleries. 10 min drive to Cranberry Hill.
Upscale, nautical New England–style hotel right on Gloucester Harbor, with a rooftop pool deck, lively waterfront restaurant and bar, and direct access to Pavilion Beach and the working waterfront. 10 min drive to Cranberry Hill.
Stretching along the open Atlantic, this seaside hotel has a breezy, romantic coastal vibe, with wide porches, Adirondack chairs facing the surf, and an easygoing, oceanside‑hideaway feel. 4 min drive to Cranberry Hill.
VACATION RENTALS
There are many beautiful vacation rentals in the area, often offering more space & flexibility at a more reasonable price than the hotels - particularly for groups.
TRANSPORTATION
RENTAL CAR OR TRAIN FROM THE AIRPORT
Most major rental car companies operate out of both Boston Logan Airport and Portland Jetport. The drive from Boston Logan to Cranberry Hill takes just under an hour, versus two from Portland Jetport.
If opting for a train, Boston's North Station is a ten minute Uber drive from Boston Logan International Airport and most days, the Newburyport/Rockport Line departs every 2 hours. At $11 for a one hour trip, it's a great way to go if you'd rather not rent a car.
Getting AROUND THE ISLAND
As August is peak season in Cape Ann, plan for both parking & traffic to present challenges this weekend. We'll help organize carpools to various locations to limit this as a barrier to adventure.
If you'll be traveling without a rental car, Uber is an option we found quick & consistent when we visited in September, although reports of their reliability during peak season vary.
Gloucester Taxi is another option that locals recommend, but is cash-only & seems to take a bare-bones approach to customer service.
Keep in mind that certain beaches & hiking areas may have limited cell service.
